Castor oil is a multipurpose vegetable oil made by extracting oil from the seeds of the Ricinus communis plant. Our castor oil is extracted using the cold-pressed technique and sold in its purest form. It is a thick, odourless oil with vitamin E which makes the skin, nails and hair moisturized. It is hexane free and suitable for all skin types.

Uses and benefits

• Castor oil is thought to have anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and moisturizing properties.
• The high amounts of natural fatty acids and Vitamin E make it a popular moisturizer and skin softener.
• Its antimicrobial properties may be useful in fighting off bacterial or fungal overgrowth on the scalp
